What if? This doesn’t seem right, what if the other is?

Life has flood us with choices that are so wide and open, which makes it confusing and at times bewildering to choose from. So what do we do. Do we choose one and be satisfied with it, or do we fret about the other options for the rest of our life? What if is a question that haunts each and every human on this earth.

Be it deciding on your soul mate, picking your course or even walking away from a lifelong career, every decisions that we make as we grow into an adult, determines where we go from that point onwards. Some decide and live happy, some decide and regret forever, some do not ever decide and would never know what it would have been like, to walk down that particular path.

The people who are the happiest seems to be the one that are content with their decision and it might be even a no, but for them, a ‘no’ in itself was a decision they made. They took the courage and enforced their life to go the way they want it to and were content with whatever came next. They were not sad and depressed by the consequences it bought, but lived their decisions to its fullest.

Now the ones who regretted their decision, never understood why decisions are made. They are made to force you to choose instead of wander and targets your attention to something it should be focusing on. ‘You decided it, now you have to live with it’ is not saying negatively but emphasising the point that you are responsible for your own happiness. It is not created by others, but it is created by you. When you decide on something, stick to your choice.

The third group who never decide are the cowards, who never took the chance and run with it but tried holding onto it, hoping someday they will have the courage to run. Life is about now. Take some risks and live with them because life is all about new experiences and that is what rewards us at the end of the day.

Life is filled with a web of paths. You choose one, you go forward. You never choose, you are left behind. Make sure you live life to the fullest, by jumping off some cliffs (not literally) and making it all memorable and worthwhile.

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life-to be happy-its all that matters.”- Audrey Hepburn

Thank you so much for the comment. Yes thank you for mentioning the other group as well. I agree that what you want is not what you always get, but like you mentioned ” you propose something and god dispose something else” is very true. But I do think at times you do have to blindly risk some things in life, that won’t put you at risk for a long time.

Thank you again for providing your insight into this topic.:)
